After a night out on the town

I had better not get into trouble for this. What could he say? He was escorting someone back to their room while they were both completely drunk, and had SIC with them? Yeah, that would go over real well. So, plan A was to not get caught and plan B was to lie, cheat and steal his way out of trouble if he had to. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

"Soo, uh, which room is yours?" Warp asked Jana as they entered the femal side of the ship. To him, if looked and felt decidedly female even though it looked exactly like the male side of the Nexus. Cold metal walls that made the cold, metal rooms; what a surprise. He shifted SIC on his shoulders for the twentieth time as he glanced around the space. Everyone just stay in your rooms and don't bother to come out. Nothing to see. It was more of a prayer than a command.

Sic's eyes were completely shut, trying to block any kind of light from entering their eyes. Light burned. They tried not to listen to any sounds, from Warp and Jana's chatter to the creaks of the ship. Noise made their brain pound. They didn't dare move out of Warp's grip. Moving hurt.

All in all, being somehow drunk and hungover at the same time was horrendously painful. From what they could tell though, they were looking for a room for...some reason.

"Where the fuck are we......" They mumbled, shuddering as another wave of nausea hit them. Fuck alcohol. Fuck everything. Aaagh fuckin' hangovers. They gritted their teeth in annoyance and pain.

"We're currently on a ship called Nexus, somewhere in space, no doubt on our way to conquer another innocent and unsuspecting universe." Warp answered SIC in his best tour guide voice, making sure to imput just a touch of sarcasm to let his two companions know that he really didn't care about anything at the moment. "And if you hurl on me, I'm using your cloak to wipe it off." Well, he cared about that.

Honestly though, how dumb and drunk did dumb and drunk get? The ex-henchman had seend a few things in his time and very drunk people was one of them. But in his experience, even very drunk folks usually knew where they were, for the most part. No one ever asked him if they were still on Mahambas 6 when it was obvious that they still were.

"My room?" Jana looked at Warp questioningly before realizing what he meant. "Oh...it's one of the last rooms...around the corner...I think." she growled, holding her head. Things were starting to get fuzzy, her robotic eye dimming to a dull purple. She wasn't going to pass out, as much as she was losing energy.

Looking at Sic all slung over Warps shoulder just had to make her snicker. And snicker she did. Sic was just looking hilariously funny to her, dangling there like a sick puppy.

"One of the last ones around the corner. Got it." Warp said with a false cheeriness, and he didn't care if anyone called him on it. All he was thinking about was keeping Buzz off his back about being completely drunk. "Does said room have a number that you can recall?"

He didn't mind vagueness, not at all. Not unless he was on a mission, and right now he was treating this like a mission. He needed to know at least some the important details if he was expected to get his job done. SIC's quarters were going to be easy enough to find because there was nothing else on that side of the ship. Jana's room looked exactly like all the others on the ship, and that was a problem at the moment.

Sic growled deep into their throat. Smartass.

"Just cause I'm drunk 'n hungover to shit dun mean you can disrespect me ya.....fag...I know we're on the damn ship...its my ship. But dis ship.....is fuckin' big. 'N I was tryin' to figure if we were still in the bar.....I should smack you with mah ring hand..." They half mumbled and half scolded. If it weren't for the fact that Warp was the only thing keeping them up and moving, they'd get out of his grip and walk by themselves.

Another wave of nausea sprang up, and this time, they could feel the vomit coming up their esophagus. "AAAGH FUCK.." They wrestled their way out of Warp's grip and stumbled over to a wall, leaning onto it, before keeling over and vomiting all over the ground.

"Aw shit...now 'M hungry.....go on without me." They moaned, as they vomited once more. Oh, they'd be brushing their teeth after this, that was for sure.

The rather unwilling captive-turned secruity guard rolled his eyes at his boss' little rant, a very smug grin manifesting itself on his handsome face. If being stone drunk wasn't a reason to make fun of someone else, then the universe had just gotten, forgive the expression, a lot more sober.

"Dude, what the heck?!" Warp nearly shouted as SIC wrestled out of his strong grip and found the closest wall, and proceeded to empty their stomach. Oh, how he would've given anything to make himself leave SIC in the hallway like he had be told to. It would be his luck that something would happen to them if he actually did leave them.

Warp sighed. "Yeah, I'm gonna have to ignore that order and drag you along. And not because I actually care about what happens to you either." He grumbled as he picked SIC up and let them stand on their own two, very wobbly legs, wrapping his robotic arm around their torso and SIC's left arm around his shoulders. "Glad that you finally got that out of your system?"

Jana looked at Warp with a confused, thinking look. "I know it starts with a 1...I think." she suddenly stopped in her tracks and rubbed her head, thinking. Thinking hurt though, so she stopped and looked at Warp. "I dun for the life of Capital Planet remember... the stupid name."

The drunk teen was about to move again, when Sic made his way over to the wall, ultimately throwing up on the floor. The sight of the vomit didn't faze Jana in the slightest, however. She'd seen her mom throw up after a long day at work all the time, so she had gotten used to it.

After Warp had yet again picked up Sic, and they started moving again, Jana could only take a few steps before tripping and hitting the wall; giggling as she did so. She used the wall for support, and her legs were wobbly.

"I'm ok...honest." she twitched and let go of the wall, only to find herself falling back onto it.

Warp would've been angry if he weren't still a bit drunk and beginning to feel just a little bit tired from carrying SIC. Well, this is what I get for being nice and offering to help people again.

"Uh, why don't you half fall, half walk back over here and hold onto my arm or something so that we can actually get you to your room for the rest of the...uh, well, for the next few hours anyway." At least he didn't have to support two people for a long time. They were almost to Jana's room; he could handle SIC the rest of the way.

He smiled to himself as he waited for Jana to latch onto him. Buzz would probably be having a hard time not teasing him if he were here right now, and he knew that Shane wouldn't hesitate to let out a string of smart remarks and jabs. Thank goodness neither of them were there just then.

Sic felt, more than saw Warp grab them back up since their eyes were closed once more, to block out the light. With a small mumble, Sic walked along beside Warp, leaning into him since they'd fall flat on their ass if they didn't. "Oh yeah, that spot on the wall was fun....."

They were going to have to get someone to clean that tomorrow. Uugh, hopefully they found Jana's room soon, they really wanted to hide under their bed and sleep for all time...

"Yeah, it looked like you were having a real party over there." Warp said sarcastically, letting SIC lean on him. Not that he wanted to THAT close to them, but he didn't really have a choice. At least they hadn't complained about being pulled to their feet again after aforementioned party.

I won't complain if I never escort someone back to their room, after getting knockout drunk, ever again. Sure, it had it's moments, but more often than not, those moments were accompanied by a bad side affect.
