Though Regina had made it back from the displaced jungle with the Third Energy research, and though she had gone back AGAIN and saved Dylan and Paula, the mission would not be over until they managed to return all displaced things to their own times. And that meant going back with new equipment, where they could only again be ambushed, their equipment destroyed, and them having to find a way back home from the wreckage of everyone else who died here. Great.
Regina ran through the doors of a Third Energy research facility, which was mostly overtaken by the jungle. A Timegate should be in this facility, but of course, a pack of raptors had decided to call this place home. As soon as she entered the door, she was greeted by two of them. Two shots to the head each, and down they went.
Regina smirked, hearing the frustrated roars of the Allosaurus that had been chasing her. Reducing her run to a brisk jog, she made it through the facility mostly unhindered. Raptors didn't much like it deep inside human buildings. She soon found the Timegate... but something else was in the room, too.
"Greetings, pathetic life forms. Your planet is now my planet. Some of you will die, and the rest of you will WISH you were dead. But I require entertainment, so I will take someone off your planet to transfer them to my location. Do not be jealous of this one person, they probably won't fare too well here either"
What the hell? Regina's face was full of confusion. When the robot tried to grab her, though, that settled that. She opened fire with her desert eagle, but to no avail. She was dragged to its teleporter pad, and was gone.
