Exploring and Exercising

Jana walked through the halls of the ship, inspecting all the cameras from afar. There were so many watching her every move. How was she supposed to do her stealing if she would always be watched? The nerve of it all. She wanted to go back to Trade World and STAY there. Not be on some good for nothing ship where she obviously couldn't do what she wanted. The cyborg just wanted to PUNCH something to let out her anger.

Her footsteps stopped as she reached a door, that had the label EXERCISE ROOM written above it in fance, black manuscript. Her face lightened up. Finally! Something worth her while that she could blow off some steam! Her face fell as she opened the door and there was someone else there already. Jana grumbled to herself and walked in anyway, and looked around the room. There was much exercise equipment spreadout throughout the large room. On the other side there was a door leading to a shooting range. She would use it after exercing a bit.

Ignoring the women in the room, another punching bag was being punched. The soft sound of metal against rubber could be heard.

Dropping down from the ventilation shaft above, the camouflaged espionage landed in the exercise room. Swara added these coordinates to his personal database of the Nexus. He was constructing his own map that included the ventilation system, service outlets, and network access points. As a spy, it was important to know your area. By fully understanding the ship, he would be able to expand like a gas in a container, covering all available space.

Agent Ferenceri had not been in the Exercise Area in his time spent here; it would be a good idea to stay fit during times of inactivity so that he could stay prepared for even the most sudden and rigorous tasks thrown at him. However, as the chameleon looked around, he noticed that the room was in use. A peculiar humanoid was striking a punching bag with a staff. A cyborg was also punching at a punching bag. Most interesting; perhaps he would stay and observe these beings.

Staying motionless and silent, Swara watched Glaua's and Jana's movements.

"I would say the same for you." Jana said as she was acknowledged. "Now I have to exersize with a fucking man watching me." Jana's back stayed facing Glaua as she continued to punch the punching bag with both her robotic and organic hand. It was obvious the robotic arm was at least twice as strong as her organic in how when she punched with her robotic hand, the bag swung further than with her organic.

She stopped punching at the taller women's remark. Of course someone would say that. People always so little of her and her strength. Jana didn't realize or didn't want to admit she had always done the same thing to others. "Oh, so just because I am small I am inept at hitting a fucking punch bag straight?" she asked coldy, and angrily. If the taller women was trying to get a rise out of her, it was already working.

Swara stayed unnoticed to the girl...for now.

The two females seemed to be on edge with each other. Both the small one and the large one seemed to make caustic comments towards each other. It seemed as if they were trying to agitate one another.

Well Swara liked a good sociology and behavioral experimentation. He enjoyed seeing how people to each other. It was always wise to understand a target before making a move. By knowing the enemy acted, you knew how to expect their every move. Doing so was essential for planning and manipulating events.

While he had been assigned to keep eye on others as to make sure they didn't cause too much a fuss, the chameleon still wanted to perform his studies. Besides, he would stop matters if he needed to. The main thing was acquiring knowledge on how these two responded to a little foul play.

Picking up a hand weight, he tossed it at the larger one's head. She would hopefully not notice that it was not Jana who threw the projectile, seeing as she was donning her armor.

"Ow," Jana whined as she rubbed her head where she was whipped. She had to admit that she deserved that, though it didn't change the fact it made her a bit angry that he had hit her.

"Whatever. I might be a brat to you but not to me. And fine, go. Wanted to be alone anyway." she half spat. Though punching the bag relieved some of the stress she had piled up, she was still easily annoyed. Not being the brightest bulb in the shed, she sometimes took things the wrong way than was intended. She went back to punching the punching bag, when she turned her head to see if Glaua was almost done yet, when she saw the hand weight conk Glaua on her head.

"What the fuck? Who the hell did that...." she asked herself aloud. The punching back was rocking back and forth back and forth as it was left idle.

The sound of his own footsteps and one of many nameless tunes he'd devised during his training, were the only two things that resounded in Shane's ears as he made his way to the exersice room. The prospect of getting some fitness training in while adding one more piece to his mental map of the ship, provided a bright spot in Shane's day.

And here we are. A satisfied smile crossed Shane's face he read he plaque on the door, before opening it and stepping inside. He was just in time to see the hand weight hit one...female? in the back of the head, and to hear the other individual present swear. Both occurances caused Shane to wince rather noticably.

"Dang." Shane muttered just loud enough to be heard as he started to remove the top half of his suit. It wasn't easy trying to lift weights in your spacesuit/armor.

Jana was about to run out before she was accused to throwing the heavy object at Glaua, when Shane walked into the room and had blocked her only way of leaving. Great. She turned around and was about to explain to the female that it wasn't her who through it, when she felt a surge of electricity flow through her.

"I am not being coy you fucking MORON! In fact, I was just about to apologize for mistaking what you had said! But Fine! If you want to play it that way, I'll just fucking fight fire with fire." she spat, using the energy she had gained from Glaua's attack, she threw a ball of electricity straight at Glaua's chest.

Glâúa whirled around to face Jana with a growl, baring her teeth. Though it hadn't hurt too much (orcs didn't have thick skulls for nothing) it was a humiliating and low-handed move. "Don't play coy with me, pipsqueak."

After making sure that he hadn't just been addressed as "pipsqueak", and moving out of the way of the young cyborg, Shane proceeded to lift the suit off his shoulders and over his head. The chore of sliding his arms out of the suit while holding it over his body never gave him pleasure in the past and things remained much the same now. Except for the sound of...lightening, that filled the room.

"That'll teach ya for trying to mess with an orc shaman!" A mistake many made and paid dearly for in the end.

A who, er...what? Oh well. For a moment Shane wondered if he should keep his armor on and just leave until a later date, but decided that if whatever had just fired lightening, really wanted to hurt him, it would've happened already. Still the armor came off slowly, until it was just a tank top that covered a young, lean eighteen year old; who calmly laid the top half of his suit in a corner and stepped over a bench and began mounting weights on the bar. He wondered about...that was, until a physical retort sounded somewhere behind him.

Might as well just sit and watch this one 'til it dies. Shane sighed as he sat down on the bench, prepared to witness a clash of the wills. He half wished that he had earplugs in his back pocket.

Of course it had all been a lie, a cover up, that an apology was going to be said. Too bad she wouldn't have been believed anyway. Easily dodging the flame by diving out of the way. "Glad I could have been of some service." she scowled, picking herself back up and dusting herself up. Though she knew of the other presense in the room, she ignored it.

Charging up another blast, she send another blast at her. It didn't seem she was the best opponent to try hand to hand compat on.

Ohhh, boy. All I wanted to do was get a little workout in before I had to walk the rest of the ship. Make no mistake, Shane loved a good fight, whether he was in it or not didn't really matter to him. But, in his mind, there was a time and a place for such things and right now was neither, and the back and forth was starting to irritate him. He would just have to wait. Any move he made in any direction would no doubt be notice by one or the other, or both of the women that were stilling having at it. It didn't hurt to think about it though...A small charge fired at the floor would probably do the trick, if it came to that.

Shane could almost see his patience leaving as the moments ticked by. He had something that he wanted to do, and it was going to be done. In a nearly subconscious manner, he began tapping the metal floor with his boot. The patience was wearing thin indead.

A room full of capable, and impatient people...just perfect.

"All that weight must be weighing you down." Jana quipped as she jumped back just in time to dodge the punches thrown at her. Was that all she had? She mimic'd Glaua's last attack with her robotic parts.

Okay, that did it. Not only were they still fighting over who knows what, but they couldn't even hit each other anymore. Enough was enough.

Carefully, Shane drew his sidearm, put it on one of it's lower settings and fired at the floor next to his own foot, figuring that sound of the shot would be enough and that there was no purpose in giving either of the combatants reason to be upset with him. "Excuse me...ladies." His voice was a calm and hard one that came only when his temper stirred.
