Spy Shipment

Swara was fazed onto a cold metal floor. He was slightly scraped from the rough ground and fall, but quickly manages to stand up. Surveying the area, Ferenceri observed that he was in some sort of a storage room, that stretched on for some distance before an open entrance led out into the open. He was surrounded by metal crates stacked ontop of each other. What they were filled with, Swara had no clue.

Moving cautiously, Swara crept out of the warehouse and into an open area, surrounded by some sort of glowing barrier. He looked around, and saw a very large base complex in the distance. It sure did tower the bases he had seen on his planet.

Ferenceri sneaked around, looking out for any clue as to where he was.

Kev looked around as he explored the deck. He had never actually seen SPACE before. He had never even left his planet before! Kev felt a little guilty about being picked to go in the spaceship, but it meant that he was actually gonna live, if only for a little while. Maybe if he was able to cozy up to this 'Dictator' guy, the man wouldn't kill him. Kev doubted it, but there was no harm in trying.

For the moment though, he'd be happy just staring out at into Outer Space. Kev's eyes got especially big as the ship passed a planet with beautiful blue rings around it. 'Ooohh~~ Space is SO pretty.~' Kev thought to himself mentally, 'sighing' in admiration.

The sky above sure was intruiging; the scene was much different from his homeland. However, Swara felt he would adjust to it with time.

Swara continued to scout the Deck, searching for any information about this location he had been brought to. He eventually came up to a fence, that seemed to be an enclosure around the warehouse he had been teleported into. He easily climbed over it, reaching the other side of the fence in no time. Small buildings seemed to spread around area, bound in by the forcefeild. Yet, there was still a lot of open space. Not to mention, there was occassional machinery lined up around here.

He crept up to a large electronic screen that was displaying public announcements.

"Greetings all new comers, I am honored to have you here as my prisoners. Not really; you should be honored for being allowed to live and be my prisoners here on the Nexus Dawn. However, I do hope you enjoy your captivity. Be sure to look out for new announcements to be informed of all the local news."

Kev walked along the side of the force field, looking around for others. He had yet to see many other people on this ship. There were a few small buildings spread around, presumably open to whoever else was on here. Kev stopped walking and leaned as far to the field as he could as the ship made it way by a large yellow sun. The ship was close enough to let Kev absorb the sunlight, but far enough away that the ship wouldn't be affected by it. Kev's skin absorbed the sunlight and his body began the process of photosynthesis.

He continued walking, and noticed that up ahead was a large screen. He began to walk right towards it, not noticing another figure near it.

Swara's eyes darted to the right as he heard a figure approaching.

His skin colors quickly flared with surprise, rapidly changing colors due to extreeme emotion. He instinctively felt the urge to run away and hide, but his rational mind kept him from doing so. If he ran away, his footsteps would surely be heard. Ergo, he simply activated his camouflage, turning nearly invisible. He kept as still as a corpse, keeping his eyes facing back to look at the creature.

It appeared humanoid, although it seemed to have a lack of a mouth. The eyes and skin were not too different from his own; the being had large eyes and lizardy skin.

Well who do we have hear eh?

Kev finally arrived at the screen, and squinted at the red text. Unlucky him, while he had learned how to SPEAK basic, he had never learned to READ basic. Kev looked around, hoping someone could read it for him, but, of course, no one seemed to be around. Kev mentally swept around lightly, looking for a presence that was near, and asking for some assistance. Curiously, he sensed a presence nearby. Kev looked around, blinking. The presence was VERY near, and yet there was no one in sight.

Kev bent down, inspecting the ground carefully, in case the presence was just a random bug, or maybe a really small alien. No one in sight though....Kev tilted his head, thinking. 'Maybe its someone who can become invisible?' Kev asked himself. Indeed, such a thing was not impossible. Some aliens back home traded devices that could turn one invisible. And he had heard of some aliens having the ability to camouflage themselves. In fact, his own coloring was an evolved trait used to blend in with the flora of his planet. The aliens he heard about though, could change to fit any surrounding.

"Hello, is someone there?" Kev asked mentally, sending the thought in the direction of the presence.

The alien suddenly seemed to be aware of a presence nearby, and searched the area. Out of nowhere, Swara could feel something in his head, talking to him.

Swara had never encountered telepaths before, but he had heard of them. It interested him, as it would be an excellent tool for espionage efforts. He wondered about the situations in which pyschic connections would be useful. Swara pushed his digression aside, and focused on the task at hand.

Ferenceri did not respond to the creature, but did begin to circle the alien. He would test to see how far this being's powers went to before he made another move.

Kev blinked at the lack of a response. Perhaps it hadn't heard him? Kev searched for the presence again, to see if it had left. Kev raised an eyebrow ridge though. The presence was apparently just revolving around him. Kev blinked, confused. Why was it doing that? Kev sent the thought out again, in case it hadn't heard him.

The thought was felt again in his head; the creature speaking to it once more telepathically. Swara still did not want to reveal his appearance to this alien, but he decided he must speak to it. However, he would conceal as much as he could; Swara Ferenceri was a spy after all.

"Greetings, Alien. Who are you?" he 'spoke' in his head, still looking cautiously at the being.

He stopped circling the alien, and merely crouched near him. He stared intently, waiting for a response.

Kev grinned mentally at the response. The being hadn't revealed itself yet, but that was fine. Kev made a small nod in the general direction of the being, a greeting on his planet.

" I am Kev-Mak-Tarr, but I really prefer Kev. I am from Kryptonistan. And yourself? " Kev 'said' conversationally, slouching lazily against the wall. He was glad to have finally found someone who seemed kind of sane. Kev's eyes landed on the screen and he almost smacked himself in the head. He had forgotten the entire reason he had searched for another presence. "Also, do you know what that screen says? I never learned to read basic. "

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Kev." Swara replied, avoiding making a response about his own name. Better safe than sorry, for sorry here meant death.

"Oh, it is merely a news bulletin stating welcome to the people that just arrived, and that people should stay in for more information." Swara mentally commented to Kev.

" Ah. Sounds reassuring. Thank you." Kev 'said' with a small nod towards the basic direction of the Alien. Kev looked around the deck for a second. " I wonder what the name of this ship is. Its very pretty, one of the most advanced ships I've seen! Although, I haven't the inside of ships, just the outside. And I haven't seen the outside of this ship. But its still very beautiful. " Kev 'said', knowing he was probably getting on this Alien's nerves, but he couldn't help it! Invisible alien, intriguing ship, genocide, the fact that he was living. He was almost on his toes in a mixture of excitement and panic. Kev always had a tendency to become a chatterbox when he was intimidated and nervous.

Buzz had just been fazed through minutes ago, and had been wandering the deck. No visible security thus far, other than the cameras. Odd. Did the Dictator allow them some measure of freedom here? No, that couldn't be right.

His team. Where was his team? He'd been separated from them. He was more than a little worried, and frustrated. Not only did he want them to be safe, but he also needed them if the Dictator was to be taken down - and he would be if Buzz Lightyear had anything to say about it.

The sound of voices pulled him away from his brooding. He strode towards the voices and came upon two aliens, the likes of which he had not encountered before. He cleared his throat and held up his hand in greeting. "Hello." Now didn't seem like the time for his dramatic "I am Buzz Lightyear" bit.

He hadn't been there for more than ten minutes, and already he had a strong dislike for the place. More for the reason that he was there than anything else. The idea of being someone elses "entertainment didn't sit well with him in the least. But at least he wasn't alone.

Only moments ago, Warp had watched Buzz approach two aliens, who seemed to be holding a conversation with each other, and introduce himself. He'd held back a choke of laughter as his former partner ran through his standard welcoming speech.

Now's as good a time as any. Warp took his millionth glance around the main deck area before stepping out of the backround, towards Lightyear. When he was only a few feet away he spoke. "Nice to see a familiar face, huh, Lightyear?"

Buzz spun on his heel at the all-too-familiar voice. His eyebrows drew together as his gaze ran up and down his former partner. “That depends,” he said cautiously. “Hi, Warp.”

"Please, Buzz. If I was here to do damage, I would've done it and been gone already." He set his jaw as before he continued. "As things are...I'm pretty much helpless." The dissatisfaction was evident in his voice.

Buzz eyed the other man. “You taught me to be careful,” he said simply. Helpless – Warp? Not likely. Maybe he thought he was helpless, but Buzz knew better. The man always had a trick up his glove.

Kev blinked at the newcomer.

" Hello! " Kev said to this new person, telepathically. Kev was happy to have a new person to chat with as well. Kev blinked though as another alien, looking similar to the new one, came up and started speaking with him. If the other alien were visible, he'd probably share a confused glance with him.

Swara, still invisible, observed the two new creatures. One of them appeared to be human, but the other one had purple skin --indicating that it might not be a human. They appeared to know each other, calling each other familiarly. However, they talked to each other with a tone of discontent. Perhaps they did not like each other, or maybe even enemies.

With cat like tread, Swara stealthily crept up to the two to get a closer look.

Fine, be that way then, Lightyear.

"As well you should be. You can never tell with people who think there in charge of the universe." He smiled ruefully. "But that's the fun of it sometimes." It was at this point that Warp took full notice of the smaller, green-scaled alien that was staring at them with a look of confusion on its face. "And you are...?" Although the tone of his "greeting" was in no way friendly, it was not threatening. The alien made him curious since he hadn't see the likes of him before, and he wanted to know more about him.

Kev blinked when he realized the newest alien was addressing him. He nodded his head.

" My apologies! I am Kev-Mak-Tarr, call me Kev. I'm sorry, but I've never met an alien like yourself and that one over there. " Kev 'said' mentally, with a small gesture towards the other alien with a large chin. Kev looked down and noticed the alien's robotic arm. " Ah! Intriguing. Whoever did this did a good job. " Kev's tone was extremely friendly, happy to talk to anyone, especially new aliens such as this one.

((Ummm, just so you guys know... If you have read my posts, then you would know that Swara is currently invisible O:))

Link sighed as he pulled himself up the ladder and entered another empty hallway. This was a strange ship, one that flew through the sky. He'd seen ships on the ocean, but none this big, and none that could fly. There were a lot places on it he couldn't even reach...he missed his hookshot.

The only items he had with him were his sword and shield, everything else he'd left behind...his boomerang, his bomb bag, his bow...he didn't even have any rupees. But he wasn't worried about that, he'd been dumped off in strange places with no items before. He was worried about his grandparents, though, and his village.

...His destiny? What had the Triforce meant by that? What was he supposed to do? Link stopped, losing his train of thought at the sound of voices echoing from nearby. He crept towards them until he could see where they were coming from, hiding behind a conveniently placed crate. There were two men and a...something. Maybe they could tell him where he was?

But he had no fairy or talking hat, how would he ask them? Well, he would just have to hope they would tell him without his asking. He stepped out from behind the crate and cautiously approached the strangers, waving and smiling at them so they'd know he meant no harm.

Buzz said nothing, a sad sort of look on his face as he folded his arms and looked away.

Telepathy. Buzz blinked. He had had some experience with telepathy before, but never like this. And he wondered if Kev was young, or if his chipper-ness was just irrevocably part of his personality.

“I’m, uh, I’m not actually alien,” Buzz clarified. “Well, I mean, I am to you, I suppose, but I’m actually human. You’ve never seen a human before?” How odd. Then again, the Roswellians had never seen humans before, either…

To be so young and get caught up in this… “I’m Buzz Lightyear, and you are~?” Of course, there was no way Buzz could know that Link could not speak.

A little boy with blue jeans and a dirty white shirt peeked around a corner. He was shaking as he watched all the figures converse with each other. For now, he just stood in that one spot, seemingly too scared to walk over and talk to the figures.
